Hello, this area of my portfolio is my favorite. This is where i wanted to share some of my favorite digital illustrations i made in the last few years.
As I want to purse a career in Graphic Design and Photography, I consider drawing and illustration as a hobby in my art journey. It's my own way of enjoying art to the fullest outside of work that gave me the joy of doing art again like if i was a kid again. During the summer of 2022, I decided to study and develop my own drawing style and sense. I wanted to pursue a combination of detail realism with a hint of 90's anime/manga style. I inspired my style after famous manga artist Boichi and Instagram artist Arekushisu.
In my illustrations, I draw people in grayscale (black, white, and grey.) The world or environment around my illustrations are in color. This reflects a personal philosophy of people and the world; humans are black and white anomaly's and the world is filled colorful beauty. I primarily started drawing men, women, animals, and recently exterior environment and landscapes.
I started on a windows surface pro 7 using Photoshop, in 2024 transitioned to an iPad pro using procreate.
